SUPPORT US
Every day at Island House, local people facing isolation, poverty and poor health find a safe, welcoming space where they can connect with others, build confidence and improve their wellbeing. From older residents who would otherwise be alone, to migrant women gaining vital skills and support, our work changes lives in practical and lasting ways. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of supporters to keep these services free and accessible to those who need them most. A donation of any size helps us provide essential activities, from wellbeing sessions to food support, ensuring that no one in our community is left behind.
Alongside our core services, we also occasionally run fundraising appeals for essential improvements to our building that are difficult to fund through grants. Recent projects have included creating accessible toilets and installing a video door entry system, and we will soon be seeking support to replace worn flooring throughout the centre. These improvements are vital to keeping our space safe, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone we support.
By supporting Island House, you are directly helping people feel less isolated, more confident, and better able to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
