Island Advice offers free, confidential, independent advice on matters such as welfare rights, housing, council tax, immigration, employment (basic), debt, legal information etc from basic to appeal level.
Bengali speaking workers are availible and homevisits can be arranged to housebound clients in the E14 area.
Island house is the main centre for Island Advice, Appointments are based at the centre and we hold Advice Sessions every Wednesday morning.
Advice Sessions at Island House (no appointment needed):
Wednesdays 10.30am - 12.30pm
Island Advice also holds sessions at :
Splash Offices, 1-3 Wigram House, Will crooks estate (Behind Café Cherie, Poplar High Street) Thursdays 1-3pm
Telephone Advice Sessions
Telephone Advice Sessions are held on Mondays and Thursdays between 10am-12noon, you can book and appointment, get general advice or discuss your case by phoning 020 7987 9379.
We also provide advice by appointment for patients at the following GP's surgeries and credit union officies. To book an appointment phone the surgery/receptionist directly:
